Workflow permissions
Workflow permissions allow you to determine which users or groups are allowed to influence the workflow. You can also define which users have access to the workflow data.
Permissions can be assigned in the following ways:
-
Configure permissions via configuration of access control lists (ACLs)
See also: Set workflow permissions via ACL
-
Configure permissions by assigning directory object attributes to the Visible attributes of the respective transition.
See also: Visible attributes
-
Configuring permissions via query components to the Execution authorized persons attribute
See also: Set permissions in the transition
-
Determine permissions statically via the property of the respective transition
See also: Set permissions in the transition
-
Allocate permissions dynamically in Portal in objects for different users.
See also: Dynamic permissions and Standard Dynamic Permissions.
Note: In the extended release workflow, the creator of a version must have write permissions to the model object. Write permissions can be configured in the ACL of the model object under Default.
